Gimimas

Nuo šiol Tu būsi mano oras.
Toks, kur pavasarį nuo ievų
ir alyvų
baltais šaltais kąsneliais krinta
ir geriasi į plaučius.
Klijuoja juos, cukruoja vidų
iki sulimpa nosis –
visa pasineriu į medų.
Ir kai blakstienose susiformuos koriai
Tu tapsi lyg aklajam vedliu –
kuriam tyla – tai Bacho kūriniai,
tamsa – ryškiausiai matoma.
Tuomet Tu virsi mano kūnu.
Tokiu pačiu trapiu,
tokiu pačiu išblyškusiu.
Įgausi vardą malonumo
iš meilės ir kantrybės gimusio.

Birth

You’ll be my air, from now on
The kind which falls on spring from bird trees
and lilacs
In small cold bites
And seeps through the lungs.
Glues it and sugars the inside
Until the nose is clumped
And I immerse in honey.
For when in lashes honeycombs are formed
You’ll be a blinded man’s pathfinder
To whom a silence – masterpiece of Bach,
A darkness – even lighter
Then You’ll become my body.
Equally pale.
Equally fragile.
You’ll be born of love and patience
and get the name of pleasure.

gintare

My name is Gintare, I am 26-year old girl from Kaunas, Lithuania. I have been writing poetry since 8th grade, in a high school. My lines tend to be very feminine and love related, also I always try for my poetry to contain a rhythm and a background music.
